2. Direct Appointments
When Shannon Williams is named directly as Executor or Trustee.
For those currently planning their own estate, you can name Shannon Williams personally as your Executor or Trustee. This ensures your wishes are carried out by a neutral, experienced professional rather than a rotating team. Fees are calculated on Net Estate Value and reflect the fiduciary responsibility, personal legal accountability, and time commitment of accepting a direct appointment. A straightforward estate typically requires 60 to 150 hours to administer.

Executor liability insurance
​
We strongly recommend EraAssure executor insurance for all personal executors. This is a reimbursable estate disbursement and protects your personal assets.
Disbursements
​
The estate reimburses reasonable third-party expenses including probate taxes, legal fees, and appraisals. These are not included in the fees above.
HST and annual review
​
All fees are subject to applicable HST. Professional rates are reviewed annually.
