Professional Estate Support
Let Us Help You
Estate settlement is complex, but it does not have to be a source of family stress. By leveraging over 20 years of experience and specialized designations like MTI, TEP, and CEA, we provide the structure and expertise required to protect the estate and your reputation.
We offer two distinct ways to support the transition of a legacy:
How it Works
1
The Estate Audit
We meet to review the Will and organize the immediate "must-do" tasks. We help you understand the legal responsibilities of an executor and identify any urgent deadlines. You walk away with a clear understanding of the road ahead and a transparent fee structure for our support.
2
The Administrative Heavy Lifting
We step in as your Executor’s Assistant team to handle the time-consuming logistics. This includes gathering asset information, communicating with banks, and organizing records for the final tax returns. We coordinate directly with your lawyer and accountant to ensure everyone has the right information at the right time.
3
Secure Settlement and Distribution
Once the paperwork is in order and the clearance certificates are received, we help you finalize the estate. We ensure all debts are paid and assets are distributed correctly to the beneficiaries. You fulfill your duty with confidence, knowing every detail was handled accurately and professionally.
The Impact of Expert Guidance
Protection from Personal Liability
Executors carry real personal responsibility, and that weight shouldn't fall on you alone. We handle the details with care, keeping you protected and at ease every step of the way.
Preservation of Family Harmony
Losing someone is hard enough without the stress of administrative conflict pulling your family apart. We step in as a calm, neutral guide so your loved ones can focus on each other.
Minimized Administrative Delay
Deadlines and probate requirements can quietly derail even the best intentions. We keep everything moving so your family isn't left waiting longer than necessary.
How We've Helped
Every estate is different. Every family is different. Here are two situations where having a neutral professional made all the difference.

When Family Tension Threatens the Estate
Three adult siblings were named co-executors of their mother's estate — a family home in another city and a portfolio of investments. No one knew where to start. Months passed. The siblings, once close, began to grow resentful of each other.
We stepped in as the neutral point of contact, organized the asset inventory, engaged the necessary professionals, and created a clear timeline everyone could trust.
"The estate was settled, the home was sold, and the three siblings attended their mother's memorial the following spring still speaking to each other."
When Life Doesn't Wait for Grief
A father passed away unexpectedly, leaving his daughter as sole executor. She had just given birth to her first child and was living in another province. She found us through an online search at 11pm while nursing her newborn.
We took over the following week — every call, every form, every follow-up handled on her behalf. She never had to travel to Ontario. She never had to spend a day away from her baby.
"When we closed the file, she sent a handwritten note thanking us for giving her the space to simply be a mother during one of the hardest years of her life."

Why Professional Support Matters
Straightforward answers to the questions we hear most often about cost.
Do I have to pay your fees out of my own pocket?
In almost all cases, no. Professional executor support fees are paid from the estate as a legitimate administration expense, not from your personal funds. To get started, we require an initial retainer based on our Estate Setup fee, which is paid personally by the executor at the outset and reimbursed from estate funds once assets become accessible. The balance of our fees is collected from estate funds as cash becomes available through the settlement process. We work flexibly with executors on timing so you are not left personally funding the administration.
How much does executor support cost?
Our executor support services are offered in three tiers based on the level of involvement you need, ranging from a flat-fee roadmap and guidance service through to fully managed estate administration. Fees are calculated on the net estate value, meaning market value minus any registered encumbrances, so you are never paying on debt.
Not sure where to start?
Most executors begin with a free consultation where we review the estate, explain your obligations, and recommend the right level of support for your situation. There is no commitment required and no pressure to engage further until you are ready.
